Feel Good Chocolate Peanut Butter & Banana Oatmeal Bake

good morning my friends and happy weekend!

are you ready to level up your mornings with a breakfast that feels like a treat while still being nourishing and satisfying?

enter our latest obsession: feel good chocolate peanut butter & banana oatmeal bake.

why it’s a fun breakfast:

this breakfast bake isn’t just about fueling your day; it’s about treating yourself to something special.

there’s something comforting about bananas, creamy rich peanut butter, and warm chocolate chips all nestled within a cozy oatmeal base.

the chocolate chips are my favorite part, adding bursts of chocolaty goodness in every bite.

it’s like having dessert for breakfast.

why it’s a treat-yourself breakfast:

treating yourself doesn’t have to mean sacrificing nutrient-rich foods.

this oatmeal bake is packed with wholesome ingredients like oats, bananas, dairy-free yogurt, and milk, providing a good balance of fiber, protein, and essential nutrients to kickstart your day.

but the best part? it tastes absolutely decadent. it’s the kind of breakfast that makes you feel pampered and indulged, even on the busiest of mornings.

i chose to be very generous with the chocolate chips, but you can always cut back OR add ones with no added sugar to make this even healthier.

pascha unsweetened chocolate chips are a favorite around here but there are a lot of brands to choose from!

how easy it is to make:

one of the best things about this recipe is its simplicity.

with just a few basic ingredients and minimal prep work, you can have a delicious breakfast ready in no time.

simply mix everything together in a single casserole dish, pop it in the oven, and in less than 30 minutes, you’ll have a warm, comforting breakfast bake ready to devour.

it’s perfect for lazy weekend mornings or busy weekday routines when you need something quick and satisfying.

add-in options other than chocolate chips:

while many love the classic combination of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate, feel free to get creative with your add-ins!

try tossing in some chopped nuts for added crunch and protein, fresh blueberries instead of chocolate chips or mix in dried fruit like raisins or cranberries for a burst of natural sweetness.

you can even sprinkle on some shredded coconut or a drizzle of maple syrup for extra flavor.

the possibilities are endless, so don’t be afraid to experiment and make this recipe your own!

ingredient substitutions:

don’t have ripe bananas on hand? no problem!

you can easily swap them out for unsweetened applesauce for a similar flavor profile and moisture.

and if you’re not a fan of peanut butter, feel free to use almond butter, cashew butter, or any other nut or seed butter of your choice.

great on-the-go breakfast:

need a breakfast that you can grab and go?

this oatmeal bake has got you covered.

simply cut it into squares once it’s cooled, and you’ll have perfectly portioned servings that are easy to pack for busy mornings.

whether you’re rushing out the door to work, heading to the gym, or embarking on a weekend adventure, this portable breakfast will keep you fueled and satisfied wherever you go.

not able to finish the whole batch in one sitting? no worries!

this oatmeal bake stores well in the fridge for several days.

simply let it cool completely, then transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and pop it in the fridge.

when you’re ready to enjoy it again, you can either reheat it in the microwave or enjoy it cold, depending on your preference.

it’s the gift that keeps on giving, offering you a delicious and convenient breakfast option all week long.

so there you have it, folks: feel good chocolate peanut butter & banana oatmeal bake, your new go-to breakfast for fun, indulgence, and convenience.

give it a try and prepare to be blown away by how something so simple can taste so incredibly good. your mornings will never be the same again!
