it’s not Cookie Crisp, but it’s actually better! Homemade Vegan Protein Cookie Cereal is so deliciously yummy and made with amazing ingredients. the little chocolate chip cookies are so cute too! this recipe is enough for one or two people but i don’t blame you at all if you keep it all for yourself!
the recipe is a take on The Best Tahini Cookie Crisp Cereal that i made awhile back.
it’s similar and also has a protein upgrade without the tahini. both recipes are amazing, but i especially love this one!
the texture is really LEGIT! the outside is harder like Cookie Crisp but then the center is soft and chewy.
once you add some dairy free milk, mmmmm it’s like having a ton of dunked chocolate chip cookies aka a dream come true haha.
the cookies do get soggy pretty quickly of course, so don’t pour the milk over them until you’re ready to eat!
also, the dough is pretty flippin’ fantastic, so it may not all make it into the oven lol.
while i did add protein powder, if you want to omit it, that’s fine, but you will need more oat flour to make up for the consistency.
as far as amounts, i’m not sure how much but you can add a tbsp at a time and take it from there. the dough should be really thick.
the protein brand that i used is garden of life, and i love their raw vanilla flavor. one scoop is 31g, which is what i used.
you can use another brand of course, but compare the serving size to what i used.

- oat flour
- almond flour
- almond butter
- vanilla extract
- vanilla protein powder
- dairy free milk
- maple syrup
- mini dairy free chocolate chips

Homemade Vegan Protein Cookie CerealCourse: BreakfastDifficulty: Easy
1 scoop protein powder (see text for brand and grams)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup oat flour
6 tbsp almond milk
1/4 (or more) cup mini chocolate chips
- preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- mix all ingredients but the chocolate chips until a thick dough forms. then, fold in the chocolate chips with clean hands.
- shape into mini cookie balls, about 1 and 1/2 tsp size worth and place on a parchment lined baking tray.
- bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes depending on the size. if you want them harder and on the crunchier side, monitor and bake longer.
- serve with dairy free milk and enjoy!
