Vegan Sweet and Salty Brownie Cookies

you can have the best of both worlds in a deliciously fudgy vegan sweet and salty cookie. Vegan Sweet and Salty Brownie Cookies are the gems you need in your life. they’re perfect for a night in if you want something vegan and indulgent but made with real foods.

sooo yes, there are indeed potato chips in this recipe. there’s not only potato chips but almond butter cups AND chocolate chips.

decadent? totally, but an absolute treat every now and then. plus, the ingredient list is easy as can be.

in terms of texture, i do prefer fudgy cookies and these fit the criteria. wait until you see some pictures further down, i mean the center is incredible.

the key is to let the cookies cool down before you dig in because you want the cookies to hold their shape and stay together.

check out my reel on IG and i can link the video below so that you see a step by step process.

let’s talk a bit about the potato chips, almond butter cups and more! so, i would have preferred peanut butter cups but store bought almond butter cups were the only vegan option.

i would have preferred peanut butter because i use peanut butter in the actual batter, but anything will work well!

you could sub the peanut butter with almond butter or really any super creamy nut/seed butter.

the potato chips are just organic ones that i purchased at sprouts. the only ingredients are potatoes, sea salt and avocado oil.

if you don’t want to use potato chips, i think pretzels would be a great option! just something salty for that glorious combo!

here’s everything you’re going to need to make the cookies!

  • oat flour

  • almond flour

  • cocoa powder

  • baking powder

  • coconut sugar

  • peanut butter

  • dairy free milk

  • peanut butter or almond butter cups

  • salty potato chips

  • chocolate chips
