Healthy No Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars are on repeat over here because no bake desserts are still the go to in this hot Florida weather!
whether it’s hot or cooling down wherever you live, Healthy No Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars are an amazing treat to have on hand, and they’re SO easy to put together.
the base is my favorite part because it’s made with fresh bananas, dates and peanut butter. is there a better trio? i can’t recall one!

a chocolate coating on top is one hundred percent necessary by the way, and as usual, it’s very easy to make.
you simply have to melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and then stir in a little bit of vanilla extract!
as long as you use a gluten free oat flour, Healthy No Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars are one hundred percent gluten free!
the ingredient list is very minimal and you can find every single ingredient at any grocery store nowadays.

here’s everything you need to make Healthy No Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
oat flour
coconut flour
overripe bananas
runny peanut butter (Trader Joe’s brand and Whole Foods brand are runny. to make yours runny, you can always add melted coconut oil)
vanilla extract
dairy free milk
medjool dates
chocolate chips
coconut oil
the bars are sweet but of course, not super sweet! the bottom layer is naturally sweetened with just bananas and dates.
in order to keep this completely added sugar free, you can use a chocolate with no added sugar. it will be very bitter, but i love that!
store Healthy No Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars in the fridge or freezer and thaw before you eat them!

*taste test to achieve the perfect texture
Ingredients
- peanut butter banana base
1 and 1/2 cups oat flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
3/4 cup runny peanut butter (very important that it’s runny. if not add melted coconut oil to thin it out)
2 larger overripe bananas
2 tbsp almond milk
2 large medjool dates
2 tsp vanilla extract
- chocolate coating
1 and 1/4 cup dairy free dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- add all of the base layer ingredients to a food processor and blend until a very thick dough forms.
- see notes for achieving the perfect texture!
- add the dough to a parchment lined 8 x 8 inch square baking pan. place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- then, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil. next, whisk in the vanilla extract. pour over the base layer and place in the freezer for about 45 minutes
- cut into bars- they key to avoid cracks is to cut the bars before the chocolate has turned rock hard. then, place the bars back in the freezer to set for two hours before serving and enjoy!
- store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container. thaw plenty before eating!
