Healthy Vegan Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

if you’re going to make anything pumpkin-themed this weekend, try my Healthy Vegan Pumpkin Pie Smoothie! it’s incredibly delicious and yes, it does taste like pumpkin pie.

you won’t believe there’s no added sugar! that’s right Healthy Vegan Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is sweetened with banana and dates.

there’s even protein in here from an unexpected ingredient-chickpeas!

you won’t taste the chickpeas at all! they’re in the smoothie for added nutritional value and produce a really creamy texture.

this smoothie calls for REAL pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, so there’s plenty of fabulous fall flavor going on there.

you just have to add everything to a blender and you can choose add ons accordingly!

while i made a smoothie with vegan whipped cream, a pumpkin pie smoothie bowl would be delicious.

you could add some granola on top or some sort of crumbled healthy cookies to make it more decadent and like a dessert.

however, if you’re looking to keep the smoothie added sugar free, my version is perfect for you!

here’s everything you need to make Healthy Vegan Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

pumpkin puree

chickpeas (rinsed and drained)

pumpkin pie spice

medjool dates

banana

plain and unsweetened dairy free yogurt

vanilla dairy free milk (unsweetened)

whipped cream for topping if you want

that’s it! this is a super simple recipe that’s made in no time, and you will actually feel like you’re eating dessert!

  1. It’s like pumpkin pie in a glass! I never thought of adding chickpeas to a smoothie but I loved it. It’s a great way to thicken a smoothie without having to add ice when it’s chilly outside.
