Blended Overnight PB and J Chia Oats

helloooo there, breakfast enthusiasts!

today, i’m excited to share with you a recipe that is equal parts easy, delicious and nostalgic: Blended Overnight PB and J Chia Oats.

let’s talk about flavors first.

this breakfast treat is a fusion of creamy peanut butter, tart raspberry jam, and hearty oats, all mingling together in a jar of pure bliss.

the combination is such a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness.

now, let’s discuss texture.

thanks to the magic of blending, the oats and chia seeds in this recipe become incredibly creamy and smooth.

no more worrying about lumpy oats!

instead, you’ll be greeted with a velvety consistency that’s downright luxurious.

it’s like having dessert for breakfast, but without any guilt.

one of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is to make.

simply toss all the ingredients into a blender, give it a whirl, layer with some homemade raspberry jam, and pop it in the fridge overnight.

voila! you’ll wake up to a jar of goodness that’s ready to be devoured.

now, let’s talk about why blending the oats and chia seeds is a game-changer for gut health.

when you blend these ingredients, you’re essentially pre-digesting them, making it easier for your body to absorb all the nutrients they have to offer.

plus, the chia seeds add a healthy dose of fiber, which is great for promoting digestive regularity and keeping you feeling full and satisfied throughout the morning.

speaking of nutritional benefits, this recipe is chock-full of ’em.

oats are packed with fiber, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals like iron and magnesium.

chia seeds are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and more fiber than you can shake a spoon at.

now, let’s talk substitutions and other flavor options.

feel free to get creative with this recipe!

swap out the raspberry jam for your favorite fruit compote or preserves if you don’t want to make your own.

experiment with different nut butters like almond or cashew.

add a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chocolate chips for a chocolatey twist. the possibilities are endless!

in conclusion, blended overnight pb and j chia oats are a breakfast dream come true.

with their irresistible flavors, creamy texture, and nutritional benefits, they’re sure to become a staple in your morning routine. so go ahead, give this recipe a try, and prepare to be amazed!

  • 1 cup oats
    1/4 cup chia seeds
    2 tbsp vegan cream cheese
    1/8 cup maple syrup
    1/4 cup shredded coconut
1 and 1/4 cup dairy-free milk (such as almond milk or oat milk)
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    10 ounces frozen raspberries
    1 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    peanut butter for topping

  • prepare the jam:
-in a saucepan, combine the frozen raspberries, water, and cinnamon.
-cook on the stove over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and resembles jam.
-once done, remove from heat and let it cool.
  • blend the oat mixture:
-in a blender, combine the oats, chia seeds, vegan cream cheese, maple syrup, shredded coconut, dairy-free milk, and vanilla extract.
-blend until smooth and well combined.
  • layer and chill:
-once the jam has cooled and the oat mixture is blended, begin layering the ingredients.
-in a jar or container, start by adding a layer of the blended oat mixture.
-follow with a layer of the prepared raspberry jam.
-continue layering until the jar is filled, alternating between the oat mixture and raspberry jam.
once layered, cover the jar or container and place it in the fridge.
-allow it to chill for several hours or overnight, allowing the flavors to meld and the oats to soften.
  • serve:
-in the morning, remove the jar from the fridge.
-top with a dollop of peanut butter before serving.
-enjoy your delicious blended overnight pb and j chia oats!
