1/3 cup dairy-free milk
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup raw cane sugar (or any other vegan sugar)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup melted vegan butter
1/2 cup vegan applesauce
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips or chunks (can use some with no added sugar like pascha)
- preheat your oven to 350 degrees. in a food processor, combine gluten-free all-purpose flour, cane sugar, cold vegan butter, dairy-free milk, and sea salt.
- pulse the ingredients until a dough forms. press the dough evenly into a pie pan (10″), covering the bottom and sides. bake the pie crust in the preheated oven for 18 minutes.
- after baking the pie crust, keep the oven at 350 degrees. in a food processor, blend together all of the brownie ingredients until a smooth batter forms. then, fold in the chocolate chips.
