so there’s about a billion flavors of hummus out there and one that i had not tried yet was pumpkin. this recipe was originally going to be sweet but i thought nah, i have enough sweet recipes lol. savory pumpkin hummus just sounded delicious and healthy, so i wanted to make my pumpkin dip dreams a hummus reality.

now, there are a few key ingredients besides organic pumpkin purรฉe. first, i used liquid aminos, which is a salty and delicious addition to any recipe. it tastes very similar to soy sauce! next, tomato paste! only a tbsp but trust me, it helps bring out the flavor. ah, and lastly, dijon mustard, which i think makes any savory recipe taste yummier with its distinct flavor.

carrots, pita bread, sourdough, crackers and many more foods would pair well with Savory Pumpkin Hummus. i added a thiiiiick layer to sourdough toast and some spiced chickpeas on top. DANG, it was 10/10.

alright my friends, enjoy the rest of your tuesday and be sure to tag me if you make Savory Pumpkin Hummus so i can see and share!
