calling all fans of broccoli and cheese! The Easiest Cheesy Vegan Broccoli Pasta is the most simply delicious dinner you can make for yourself or family this coming week.
when i say this is an easy recipe, i truly mean it!
the ingredients are basic and the prep process is pretty minimal too.
you’re going to need a food processor and fresh broccoli florets!
i took a ten ounce bag and pulsed the broccoli florets in a food processor until they were pretty fine and grainy.
after that, you need a large pan for sauteeing the broccoli in avocado oil with some seasoning.
onion powder and garlic powder are always my go-tos, but feel free to use whatever sounds good!
to make the sauce, you will need some plain and unsweetened dairy free milk and a bag of your favorite vegan cheese.
i used chao creamy original this time around and LOVED the way it melted.
however, you can use any dairy free cheese that you would like. there are tons of amazing brands and delicious flavors out there!
also, a little bit of nutritional yeast gives the flavors a cheesy boost!
if you want to add a little spicy kick, maybe use some vegan pepper jack cheese.
the cheese, broccoli, dairy free milk and then a little bit of mustard quickly cook into a thick and cheesy sauce.
The Easiest Cheesy Vegan Broccoli Pasta truly takes less than 15 minutes to make, including prep time.
as for pasta, use you fave! for some protein, chickpea or lentil pasta would be a great option.

The Easiest Cheesy Vegan Broccoli PastaCourse: Lunch u0026amp; Dinner, Pasta
- 1 box pasta of your choosing
- 10 ounce bag broccoli florets
10 ounce bag shredded vegan cheese
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 and 1/2 tsp onion powder
1 and 1/2 cups plain unsweetened dairy free milk
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
sea salt to taste
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
- cook the box of pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- add the broccoli florets to a food processor and pulse until a fine and grainy consistency forms.
- add to a pan with the avocado oil and seasonings and saute for 4-5 minutes on medium-high heat.
- then, add the milk, nutritional yeast, mustard and bag of cheese. once the mixture comes to a boil, cook another five minutes or until the sauce is thick.
- add the pasta, serve and enjoy!
