The Easiest Smashed Brussels Sprouts with Peanut Sauce

the easiest smashed brussels sprouts with peanut sauce is called the “easiest” for a reason! no, seriously, it takes about 35 minutes to make and is such a delicious recipe for lunch or as a side dish!

these brussels sprouts are lightly coated and baked in avocado oil, garlic powder, and whatever herb seasoning you like the most.

using these ingredients gives what seems like a plain cruciferous vegetable a lot more flavor.

i steam the brussels sprouts for about 10 minutes before i bake them in the oven.

this gives the brussels sprouts the perfect amount of softness on the inside while giving them a really beautifully baked and crunchier outside.

it’s really important to pre steam the brussels sprouts, so don’t forget that step!

the peanut sauce is so incredibly creamy and perfect to serve as a dipping sauce!

while the peanut butter gives it a nice nutty flavor, the teriyaki makes it a little bit more sweet and tangy.

the sriracha gives the sauce a little bit of a kick, which helps balance all of the flavors in the best way possible! add as much or as little as you like depending on how spicy you want them to taste.

my brussels sprouts with peanut sauce are bound to become a staple in your household. not only are brussels sprouts tasty and healthy, but are extremely filling since they’re packed with fiber.

brussels sprouts don’t always get enough love! if you cook them the right way and pair them with a fantastic sauce, haters of brussels sprouts will become lovers.
