Spicy Barbecue Breakfast Sweet Potatoes are roasted to perfection in the oven and jam packed with plenty of flavors.
you’re going to need your favorite barbecue sauce, sriracha, some seasoning and some avocado oil. all of these ingredients are a recipe for roasted potato perfection.

alex is OBSESSED with sweet potatoes. i do love them, don’t get me wrong but i sort of love Yukon gold or russet more.
however, since i want to make his weekend extra special because he works soooo hard, i’m more than happy to bring out all the sweet potato goodness.
he’s also a huge fan of slightly spicy. neither of us can eat really spicy food, but one tsp of sriracha is the perfect amount here for us and the barbecue sauce has a slightly spicy component.
you can of course adjust the amount to your spiciness preferences!

in terms of everything that goes into Spicy Barbecue Breakfast Sweet Potatoes, i’ve kept ingredients minimal but used ones that are packed with bold flavors.
for the barbecue sauce, i used store-bought but of course you can make your own. for this recipe, that just seemed like too much work for me lol.
primal kitchen makes a great one that doesn’t have any added sugar! i love it but you can of course use any brand you want.
since the sweet potatoes are naturally sweet, the no added sugar in the barbecue sauce appealed to me!
