here to let you know that if you want, you can just forget about every other banana bread recipe you’ve ever known and start fresh with The Best Healthy Vegan Banana Bread. it’s that good. in fact, it’s so good that even The Feed Feed featured my recipe and it’s been a total crowd-pleaser. this recipe isn’t new, but i thought it deserves a place on my blog where you can easily access the recipe + all of the eats deets!

there’s about a million reasons that you need The Best Healthy Vegan Banana Bread in your life but i’m just going to list a few!
first and foremost, it’s freakin’ delicious!! you get to make this loaf in the blender, which makes prep + clean up the absolute easiest. also, it’s versatile, so you can add in bluebs, nuts, chocolate chips, strawbs, you name it. the bread is perfect as is but chocolate chips and pecans on top just make everything a little better.
since there’s not any added sugar to the actual bread, you can definitely throw in some coconut sugar! maple syrup could alter the texture a little bit depending on how much you add, but a tbsp or so should be fine!

so what all are you going to need? i know i’m going to get lots of recipe substitution questions, but please keep in mind that i use specific ingredients for a reason. you can one hundred percent make changes and try different flours, etc, but the end result might not turn out like mine. sometimes, swaps work great and other times, not so much. it just depends :).
if you do have a substitution question, please add it to the comments on this post. thank you so much my amazing friends!!

Can I use a real egg? If so how many?
hi dear! i don’t cook or bake with eggs being vegan, so i’m not sure! flax meal would work too!
Yum! I would love to see your take on a low calorie version of banana bread.
aw thanks so much dear! i don’t count calories or purposely make anything low calorie. the focus here is more whole foods and quality ๐
If not using bobs, should I just use the flax dry, or make it into a flax egg?
Your stuff is the yummiest! Thanks, Mary! ??
hi! dry ๐
This banana bread is indeed the best, Mary! Not only is it delicious and healthy, it is also SO quick and easy to make. I added some chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chunks… wow! My skeptical husband had two huge slices and could not stop raving. THANK YOU!!
