Nourishing and Creamy Peach Oatmeal

start out the weekend right tomorrow morning with my Nourishing and Creamy Peach Oatmeal! if you’re like me and want dessert for breakfast but want to properly nourish yourself, this breakfast is a dream.

it’s jam-packed with nutrients but really does taste unbelievably indulgent. it’s really more like a pie!

that’s the power of using the right whole foods, they can do wonders.

the peaches are what truly makes the recipe of course since this recipe focuses on the delicious stone fruit.

if you’re not a fan of peaches or you can’t get ahold of any, feel free to make subs!

you could go with nectarines or even apricots would be delicious.

really, any stone fruit is a great replacement, but you can get creative. for example, bananas would be fabulous in this recipe.

the peaches are only cooked for four minutes but they get nice and soft and caramelize.

the caramelization comes from the date syrup and it’s just divine.

if you don’t have date syrup and want a little extra sweetness, you could replace that with maple syrup.

i make a lot of oatmeal on my stories and get TONS of questions about it!

well yay, i am giving you the scoop on how to make the perfect oatmeal and achieve that dreamy and creamy texture.

heavy coconut cream, vegan cream cheese or thick dairy free yogurt is the key! you add any of these at the end of the cooking process and it becomes SO creamy.

i cook my oats in water and dairy free milk, but you can choose one or the other if you would like.

all of the flavors just work so well together and to make Nourishing and Creamy Peach Oatmeal extra decadent, i made a peanut butter caramel.

this is completely optional and not necessary but it is absolutely scrumptious and the perfect weekend treat.

you just need any nut or seed butter and maple syrup- that’s it!

here’s everything you need to make Nourishing and Creamy Peach Oatmeal

oats

dairy free milk

water

coconut cream, vegan cream cheese or dairy free yogurt

peaches

avocado oil

cinnamon

vanilla extract

  1. I made this for breakfast today with steel cut oats and it was so good! I never would have thought to sautรฉ the peaches first. I didn’t have coconut cream so I used coconut milk instead and it was still wonderfully creamy!
