nature’s candy aka dates make the perfect base for chocolate chip cookie dough and a chocolate coating.

you won’t believe how rich and indulgent these little gems are, especially given how wholesome the ingredients are.

grab your favorite protein, nut butter, chocolate chips, dates, oat flour, dairy free yogurt and maple syrup to get started!

the cookie dough base is my favorite part because…cookie dough, duh.

the cookie dough is not very sweet but for a reason, the medjool dates provide a ton of sweetness!

you can use any kind of dark chocolate for the coating. i went with lakanto chocolate chips, which are sweetened.

after the Cookie Dough Protein Date Bites are dunked in chocolate, they can set in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

store Cookie Dough Protein Date Bites in the fridge and snack on them all day long! trust me, they are addicting.

  1. I have made these about 4 times because they are one of the best treats I have tasted. I found that I can easily fill 20 medjool dates using a tablespoon size cookie scoop. I keep them frozen and pop one out when I need a sweetness fix. Delicious!!
