Berry Bliss Chia Refresher

berry bliss summer chia refresher

if there’s one drink i’ll be sipping on all summer long, it’s this berry bliss summer chia refresher.

it’s light, bright, super hydrating, and honestly tastes like a cross between a fruity lemonade and a mocktail—with an added boost from chia seeds for that fun texture and extra nutrition.

taste + texture

this refresher is bursting with the natural sweetness of strawberries and raspberries, plus the tangy brightness of fresh lemon and lime.

the flavor is vibrant and just tart enough to wake up your taste buds, especially with that bubbly sparkling water.

the chia seeds create a slightly thick, jelly-like texture as they soak, which gives this drink a unique and satisfying texture.

why it’s just healthy

this drink is naturally sweetened with honey (or maple syrup if you prefer a vegan option), and full of antioxidants, vitamin c, and fiber from the berries and citrus.

chia seeds are a powerhouse for gut health, hydration, and plant-based omega-3s.

and since i’ve been focusing more on gut health lately, drinks like this have been on repeat in my house.

drinks like Berry Bliss Chia Refresher support digestion in a way that feels good and sustainable.

substitutions

you can swap the strawberries and raspberries for whatever berries you have on hand—blueberries or blackberries work well too.

orange can be subbed in for lemon or lime if you want something less tart.

feel free to skip the honey or use your favorite sweetener like agave or monk fruit.

and if chia seeds aren’t your thing, you can leave them out and just enjoy the drink as a refreshing berry citrus spritzer.

make it a cocktail

this would make an amazing base for cocktails or mocktails. try adding a splash of vodka, tequila, or even prosecco.

it’s super customizable, and since the sweetness is adjustable, it plays well with pretty much everything.

sweetness + storage

speaking of sweetness, you can absolutely control how sweet you want this to be.

start with a tablespoon of honey and taste—if you want more, add another teaspoon at a time until it hits your perfect level.

as for storage, keep the refresher in a sealed pitcher in the fridge for up to 2 days.

the chia seeds will continue to plump up, so give it a good stir before serving each time.
