Ingredients
3/4 cup lowfat cottage cheese
1/3 cup regular greek yogurt
1/4 cup heavy coconut cream
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/2 small ripe avocado
2 whole keylimes or 1 regular lime, skin peeled off (use all the flesh)
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla paste
2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
Directions
- add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- pour into your ninja creami pint container (or freezer-safe container) and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight (see no churn method in blog post).
- once frozen solid, run through the ninja creami on the “ice cream” setting 1-2 times.
- if it needs a re-spin, add a splash of coconut milk or dairy-free milk and spin again until smooth and dreamy.
- top with crushed graham-style cookies or a sprinkle of lime zest for a true key lime pie vibe and enjoy!
