Nourishing Banana Raspberry Oatmeal is a recipe that is based in science and you can feel great about that. this oatmeal doesn’t just taste like dessert in a bowl, but it’s full of gut-healthy ingredients to support your digestion!

the oatmeal is thick and creamy, so it feels decadent and you wouldn’t even know it’s super healthy. this recipe is curated with my friends at Seed, and i used the Periodic Table of Microbiome-Friendly Foods to create my Nourishing Banana Raspberry Oatmeal!
first, let’s talk about Seed a little bit, because although it hasn’t been long, Seed has been transformative for my gut-health. i’m truly surprised at how quickly it started making a difference.

Seed’s DS-01TM Daily Synbiotic was developed for systemic benefits beyond digestive health! it’s the first in a pipeline of clinically-studied, next-generation products.
the DS-01TM Daily Synbiotic is backed by clinical trials and has 24 strain broad spectrum probiotic and prebiotic formulated for digestive, gut immune, and additional systemic benefit. there’s 53.6 Billion AFU!!
i’m so thrilled to be part of the seed family, and noticed digestive benefits after just a FEW days, yes DAYS. i feel the most improvement when it comes to bowel movements.
i’m VERY regular now with my bowel movements, even down to the time every morning and that’s impressive. the upkeep is super easy too, you just have to take 2 capsules a day!

you don’t have to refrigerate the capsules or anything, you can store them in your cabinet. personally, i prefer to take the capsules with my lunch and a large glass of lemon water.
aside from bowel movement regularity, DS-01TM Daily Synbiotic is a crucial part of my daily routine for skin health.
for years, i struggled with acne and now i pay super close attention to my microbiome health. who better to trust with my gut-health + skin connection than seed?

let’s dive into Nourishing Banana Raspberry Oatmeal! the ingredients include banana, organic oats, flax meal. coconut yogurt, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon and raspberries. the raspberry jam is homemade and it’s delicious! per the Periodic Table of Microbiome Friendly Foods, I chose ingredients like oats, banana, coconut yogurt and raspberries to develop this gut loving recipe!!
my friends at Seed and I break down how these specific foods used in my Nourishing Banana Raspberry Oatmeal are great for your gut! let’s start with the oats.
oats are great for bowel movement regularity and help increase the amount of good bacteria in your gut! the one nutrient that really makes oats stand out is fiber.
bananas are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and they contain small amounts of inulin.
raspberries are loaded with vitamins and minerals and the fiber and water content in raspberries can help prevent constipation and support a healthy digestive tract.
coconut yogurt is lactose and casein free and a great alternative to dairy. cultured coconut yogurt is a probiotic-packed food with good bacteria that can support your digestive system.
flax meal is high in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, along with phytochemicals called lignans. it’s great for helping to improve digestive health and relieve constipation.
all of these foods are used in my every day life and often my recipe creations, including desserts! it’s super easy to sneak in gut-friendly foods into your meals each day.

i am so excited for you to try this delicious oatmeal dish (and seed!). the entire recipe is naturally sweetened with fructose by the way- there’s no added sugar.
the banana provides the sweetness and the contrast to the tart raspberries is just delicious. thick coconut yogurt is a must too. Nourishing Banana Raspberry Oatmeal is such a scrumptious merriment of flavors.
