Vegan Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies
recipe yields about 10 medium size cookies but you can of course make yours larger or smaller- just monitor the baking time

Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups unbleached organic all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup unsweetened dairy free milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup runny almond butter
1/3-1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
preheat the oven to 350 degrees. mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add in the wet ones.
mix well until a thick dough forms and then add in the chocolate chips and mix again.
use a smaller ice cream scoop to evenly distribute the batter and slightly flatten/mold into cookies with clean hands.
bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, let the cookies cool to take their shape and enjoy!!
store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container.
