Ingredients
10 ounces broccoli florets
curry batter
1/2 cup gluten free all purpose flour
1/4 cup flax meal
1/2 tbsp curry powder
1/2 tbsp onion salt
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp plain sparkling water
3/4 cup plain and unsweetened dairy free milk
sauce
1 tbsp harissa paste or however much you'd like
1/4 cup plain and unsweetened coconut cream
1/4 cup vegetable broth
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
preheat the oven to 400 degrees. whisk the curry batter ingredients well until the batter is smooth.
divide the batter in 1/2 into two bowls add 5 ounces of the broccoli florets, so half to each bowl.
coat the florets as evenly as you can and place on a parchment lined baked tray.
bake at 400 degrees for 27 minutes. meanwhile, whisk the sauce ingredients until a smooth consistency.
add the baked broccoli florets to a bowl and pour the sauce on top. mix well until everything is evenly coated and enjoy!!
