Ingredients
1/3 cup hemp hearts
1 cup cashews (used roasted but raw is fine)
14 ounces tofu (drain excess water)
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp mustard
1/3 cup flax meal
1/2 cup gluten free flour
1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas rinsed and drained
handful of chopped cilantro
Instructions
in a food processor, blend all ingredients until a thick and fairly smooth mixture forms.
use a large ice cream scoop to evenly distribute into burgers.
the mixture is somewhat sticky, so you can slightly wet hands to mold into burgers.
cook in avocado oil on medium heat for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
then, bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
serve with your favorites and enjoy!
