Ingredients
2 cups all purpose unbleached organic flour
1 tbsp organic corn starch
1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp baking soda
1 cup organic raw cane sugar
1/3 cup dairy free plain yogurt
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 cup dairy free milk
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1/3-1/2 cup crushed freeze dried strawberries
store bought vanilla frosting mixed in a food processor with more freeze dried strawberries
strawberry jam if wanted
Instructions
preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
mix the cake batter ingredients until a thick yet somewhat runny batter forms. then, fold in the freeze dried strawberries.
divide in half and add to two well-greased 8 x 8 inch round baking pans.
bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. cool down completely before layering and frosting the cakes. enjoy!
