dough
2 cups organic all purpose unbleached flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup + 1.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup water
1 tsp sea salt
jarred marinara (chunky works better than watery)
vegan cheese
Instructions
pre heat the oven to 375 degrees.
mix the dough ingredients in a bowl and knead for about 2 minutes.
split the dough in half and roll out into two rectangles about 1/4 inch thick.
add marinara to one rectangle and evenly disperse but leave 1/2 inch of room for the edges.
then, add your vegan cheese of choice on top, seal with the other dough rectangle and seal with a fork.
clean up any sauce that spills out with a paper towel. bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. then, broil one minute. cut into slices and enjoy!
