Ingredients
green beans
24 ounces haricot verts green beans
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup vegetable broth
sauce
1/3 cup runny peanut butter
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp (or less) sriracha
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp umami seasoning
1/2 tbsp furikake seasoning
sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
steam the green beans in about 1 inch of water for 4-5 minutes and then drain.
add the olive oil to a large pan and sauté the onions and garlic on medium heat for 4 minutes. stir often to prevent burning.
then, add the green beans and 1 cup vegetable broth. cook for about 12 minutes until almost of the liquid is absorbed and the beans are very tender.
whisk the sauce ingredients together, pour over the green beans and mix well.
garnish with almonds and more furikake seasoning if you would like and enjoy!
store in the fridge in an airtight container.
