Instructions
cut the apples into small pieces, aiming for about 3 1/2 to 4 cups total.
heat a few tablespoons of vegan butter or coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. add the apple pieces, cinnamon, and maple syrup. sauté for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and caramelized. set aside to cool.
melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or using a double boiler until fully smooth.
in a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the melted chocolate, apples and the warmed dairy-free milk. it’s important the milk is warmed to help create a smooth texture. blend until smooth and creamy.
pour the chocolate mixture into a lined pan or tart dish and freeze for 3-4 hours, or until firm.
top with any additional toppings you like. slice, serve, and enjoy!
