large overripe bananas

cup
medjool dates
pitted and softened (soak in warm water if firm)

large eggs
or flax eggs: 2 tbsp flaxseed meal + 5 tbsp water

runny almond butter or peanut butter

vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
gluten-free if needed

use unsweetened or coconut/date sugar sweetened
Instructions
preheat oven to 350°f and grease or line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
in a food processor or blender, blend the bananas, softened dates, eggs, nut butter, and vanilla until completely smooth.
transfer the mixture to a large bowl and stir in the oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and sea salt. fold in the chocolate chips.
pour into the well greased or parchment lined baking dish and spread the batter evenly. sprinkle more chocolate chips on top if you like.
bake for 30-32 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into bars.
