happy wednesday my friends! i hope your week is going amazing thus far. it’s only getting better in the food department because i have created Vegan Double Chocolate Sprinkle Donuts for you and they are incredible. from the fluffy texture to the rich taste with healthier ingredients, they’re 10/10.
making desserts a bit healthier and lighter is one of my favorite things to do. donuts are THE best and such a good treat, so it’s only necessary i use double chocolate.
you can add any frosting on top that you want, but of course i went with more chocolate.
this recipe is sponsored by Endangered Species Chocolate. all recipes and opinions are my own. thank you to my sponsors and amazing community for supporting upbeetandkaleingit, you are so appreciated.
i’m v obsessed with ESC chocolate bars, but LOVE their Oat Milk + Dark Chocolate Chips for lots of baking too. that’s what i used in the batter to make the donuts double chocolate.
while Endangered Species makes amazing chocolate, they do good too and i am here for it.
they also have contributed over $2,600,000 to their GiveBack partners in support of conservation while supporting independent farmers in West Africa through Fairtrade sourcing.
so, double chocolate huh?! YES! first, i used rich cocoa powder in the base of the batter and then you can fold in alllll of the Oat Milk + Dark Chocolate Chips.
when you bite into the donuts, you get this flavor rush of chocolate and it’s divine. for the top, i used store bought chocolate frosting (simple mills).
since these are sprinkle donuts, ya have to top them with some because sprinkles are just so fun!
love love love ESC’s chocolate chips because there’s something that sets them apart- oat milk!
the oat milk baking chips are so smooth and sweet like milk chocolate—but dairy free!!
who is a fan of oat milk? it’s the secret behind ESC’s deliciously different dark chocolate chips, giving them a creamier texture and unusually sweet flavor with no excess sugar, woooo.
