try upbeetandkaleingit’s new Vegan Cookies and Cream Protein Ice Cream! it’s made with amazing ingredients and packs a good amount of plant based protein.
the key to getting enough protein in this ice cream is using a yogurt with a decent amount along with protein powder!
for the yogurt, i used siggi’s plant based plain yogurt, which has 10g of protein per serving.
then, i added two scoops of protein powder, each with 20g per scoop, so a total of 40g.
you can use the base of this protein ice cream and use in whatever add ins you want!
while cookies and cream is one of my all-time favorite flavors, there are many other add ins you could try.
peanut butter, brownies, vegan caramel, blueberries, chocolate chips and more would all make fabulous options.
as for the cookies i used, they’re simple mills brand! the ingredients are incredible and i love the flavor of the cookies.
they’re just like oreos, but made with fantastic ingredients. i am linking the exact ones i used here!

another thing i love about the texture is that it’s not icy, it’s like actual ice cream.
the viral cottage cheese ice cream seems to come out really icy, so this is a great alternative.

Vegan Cookies and Cream Protein Ice CreamCourse: Desserts, No Bake
yields 3-4 servings
1/2 cup coconut cream
1/3 cup dairy free milk
1 cup creamy dairy free yogurt
1 large frozen banana
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
6 vegan cream filled cookies
- add all ingredients but the cookies to a food processor and blend until a super thick consistency forms.
- then, add the cookies to the mixture and pulse until there are chunks of cookies.
- add to a parchment lined bread loaf pan and freeze for 4 hours.
- thaw out the ice cream a little bit and serve with your favorites. store in the freezer in an airtight container and thaw a bit before eating.
