you can definitely use any kind of chocolate chips that you like but to keep this on the healthier side, i used unsweetened Pascha chocolate chips.

you throw everything into a blender and let the ingredients do their thing.
then, you can fold in the chocolate chips while the batter is still in the blender!

this is definitely not a light and fluffy bread because it’s made with oats and oat flour, so if that’s not what you’re looking for, you might want a different bread!

as you can probably tell, i added a LOT of chocolate chips into the bread haha, but you can of course add less.
i think that i added about 3/4 – one cup, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with that!
there’s a little bit of coconut sugar added to the bread for sweetness, but only 1/4 cup. that adds the perfect amount of a sweet touch.

Vegan Banana Chocolate Chip Blender BreadCourse: Breads, Breakfast
3/4 cup old fashioned or rolled oats
2 cups oat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup flax meal
1/4 cup arrowroot flour
1/2 cup dairy free creamy yogurt (used siggi’s)
1 cup dairy free milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 large overripe bananas
- 3/4- 1 cup unsweetened chocolate chips
- preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- add all ingredients but the chocolate chips to a blender and blend until a thick and smooth batter forms.
- fold in the chocolate chips and add to a well-greased bread loaf pan.
- bake at 350 degrees for 45-47 minutes.
- let the bread cool down completely and then cut into slices. store in the fridge in an airtight container and enjoy!
