  • all purpose flour
  • baking powder
  • cocoa powder
  • coconut sugar
  • almond extract
  • almond milk
  • olive oil

Double Chocolate Vegan Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

  • 1 cup almond or dairy free milk

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup Endangered Species oat milk + dark chocolate baking chips

  • buttercream
  • 1/3 cup room temp vegan butter

  • 1/2 cup Endangered Species oat milk + dark chocolate baking chips melted with 1 tbsp coconut oil and 4 tbsp almond milk

Directions

  • add all dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and then add in the wet ones.
  • mix well until a thick batter forms and then fold in the chocolate chips.
  • bake in an 8 x 8 baking pan lined with parchment paper at 350 degrees for 21 minutes.
  • let the brownies cool down and then mix the buttercream ingredients together. refrigerate for a couple of hours until the mixture is more solid and a buttercream texture. frost the brownies and enjoy!
